PINK JEEP TOURS – LAS VEGAS
Pink Jeep Tours is the longest running, and the largest off-road adventure company in the US. We recently celebrated our 50th year anniversary in Sedona, Arizona where it all began. Since 1960, hundreds of thousands of passengers have headed out into the Southwest outback, witnessing spectacular places they could never have imagined. Their recommendations to family and friends are the hallmark of our operation. “You Gotta Do It!” Building on a successful Sedona operation, Pink Jeep Tours – Las Vegas began a decade ago and is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year. Owner Shawn Wendell had a vision for Las Vegas. Shawn is an innovator and entrepreneur who understands what excites people on a tour. Investing in top notch education for the remarkable Pink Jeep Tours guides, creating the custom Tour Trekker vehicle from the axels up, and committing to stellar customer service are what has made us the premiere sightseeing Tour Company in the Las Vegas area.

Pink Jeep Tours-Las Vegas wanted to have a local elementary school student create their holiday card. The Public Education Foundation helped choose which school to participate in this particular project. Pink Jeep Tours collaborated with the Kermit R. Booker Senior Empowerment Elementary School for the project. Art Teacher Mr. Adelaja had students create entries for the Holiday Card Contest. Students from 1st to 5th grades participated.
Students were asked to draw the tour vehicle, the Tour Trekker, and include a holiday theme for their card entries. Entries were submitted by Mr. Adelaja and judged by Canyon Creative and Design, Inc. There were entries that placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Please click on the entries below to see the holiday art card project gallery.
Each grade level below had an entry with an honorable mention. Click on the entries to see their pink artistry of our Tour Trekker vehicle.
The winning recipient received an Eldorado Canyon Tour for the student and their family.
In lieu of holiday gifts, a donation was also provided by Pink Jeep Tours to the Kermit R. Booker Senior Empowerment School. The donation is for the students in need at the school.
With a half or full day Pink Jeep Tour we travel to some of the most unusual and magnificent destinations and National Parks in the world. Enormous geological diversity, dramatic rock formations, views 3000 feet straight down, huge wide open spaces and cobalt blue skies contrasted with desert tans, golds and rusts are part of this ever-changing landscape. Some places are just otherworldly, like Zion National Park with towering sandstone pinnacles, shaped by eons of wind and rain that blaze bright orange in the sunlight, or the incomparable Grand Canyon, a natural wonder of the world, seen from several vantage points. Just breathtaking! And for an engineering wonder of the world, the Hoover Dam is close by. What an astonishing feat of human ingenuity! Just minutes from the Strip is the popular Red Rock Canyon with its petrified dunes and a little farther on is historic Eldorado Canyon where you can see a real gold mine frozen in time like it was over a 100 years ago. Within easy reach of Las Vegas is a land of extremes, Death Valley and Valley of Fire in the Mojave Desert. [ CLOSE ]
We believe if you are going to be a tour company in the state of Nevada, one should be certified according to state regulations. Conducting tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam do not require State licensing. That is why Pink Jeep Tours is one of the few scenic grand tour companies that can offer tours to some of the areas beautiful State Parks, National Conservation areas, historical venues, and of course the city of Las Vegas Itself!! Giving us a total of 10 tours in all.
Our special niche, if you will, has always been the small group sightseeing tour experience. There is a reason we avoided the large bus option or commercial vans for our tours. We want to take you to places where only off-road vehicles could go, where you can see everything, and have optimal comfort along the way.So we created a sightseeing environment where perfect strangers could become fast friends simply by touring together, the incomparable Tour Trekker. We designed the Tour Trekker for you and it took four years in the making from concept to production. When you step on board the Tour Trekker and sink into your reclining leather captain’s seat, checking out the vast, unobstructed views through large tinted windows you’ll be all set to have a very special touring experience. Of course the main reason for this is your guide. [ CLOSE ]
Our guides are unquestionably the best in the touring business. Besides being highly-trained, most are getting special CIG certifications; they are a lot of fun, passionate about their work and their responsibility as stewards of the land. They make the tour! Your guide will drive the Trekker and blow your mind with facts, history and stories, answer tons of questions, stop when you want for a photo op or stay a little longer at a special place. They are there to serve you and give you and the group more control over your tour. [ CLOSE ]
We believe in giving back to the community where we work and live. We’re all about being good corporate citizens and we have a long history of helping important causes. Besides supporting and contributing to many local charities we also donate a percentage of every Red Rock Canyon tour to the UC San Diego Nevada Cancer Institute. Every fall in October we kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month through our Trek for the Cure fundraiser. We also take our stewardship of the land very seriously. Working closely with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Park rangers, our guides keep on the lookout for damaged roads and situations that need to be reported. We always take extra water on board, emergency equipment and will help anyone who is in trouble in this vast and open terrain. We also support and contribute to the following organizations:
- Clark County School District
- Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation
- Paseo Verde Library Summer Reading Program
- 12th Annual Season 4 a Cure Run
- Spirit Therapies
- Lili Claire Foundation
- Las Vegas Girls & Boys Club
