What times do your tours depart?
Our tours depart every hour on the hour starting at 7:00am or 8:00am, depending on the time of year. Our last tour of the day returns just after sunset.[ CLOSE ]
Do we need to make a reservation in advance?
We do not require advance reservations. However, there are times when we do sell-out. We recommend making reservations in advance so that you will have the greatest selection of tours and times available.[ CLOSE ]
What is the minimum age for children on your tours?
For the safety of your child, the minimum age is 18 months on all Jeep tour options. For the Grand Canyon Experience, minimum age is 3 years old.[ CLOSE ]
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 50% cancellation charge for less than 24 hours’ notice. There is no cancellation charge for more than 24 hours’ notice.[ CLOSE ]
What should we bring/wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing, which includes sturdy hiking or tennis shoes, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Also remember to bring bottled water, camera and film.[ CLOSE ]
What is the best time of day to take a tour?
Any time of day is spectacular! The lighting and wildlife are different at each hour. Mornings are the coolest time of day and the evening tours offer spectacular sunset opportunities. [ CLOSE ]
Do you offer hiking tours?
We have hiking tours that are either 2.5 hours or 4 hours long. Your Guide will customize your hiking tour based on your abilities and personal preferences.[ CLOSE ]
Can you pick me up at my hotel?
We offer hotel pick-ups in the Sedona area at no additional charge. Depending on your hotel location, we will either pick-up with our jeeps or our complimentary shuttle. The Reservationists can help coordinate a pick-up for you when you make your reservation.[ CLOSE ]
What happens if it rains?
Our tours operate rain or shine. Arizona has a lot of micro climates so most rainfall is short-lived. The rainfall offers a chance for rainbows and waterfalls providing spectacular photo opportunities. We also have rain ponchos on our jeeps. If the weather conditions are severe causing the trails to be unsafe, we would offer to switch your tour, reschedule, or give you a refund.[ CLOSE ]
Are there restrooms on the tours?
We have restrooms at our office where the tours depart for your use. We highly recommend using the restroom prior to your tour departure. There is also a restroom available at the cliff dwelling on the Ancient Ruin Tour. [ CLOSE ]
Is it customary to tip the driver and if so, how much?
Yes, it is customary to tip your guide. The usual gratuity is 15%. We can add the gratuity to your charge card or you can tip your guide directly.[ CLOSE ]
How many people do your Jeeps hold?
Our Jeeps hold up to 9 customers.[ CLOSE ]
Can we bring our lunch and eat on the Jeep?
We do not allow food or glass containers on the Jeeps. If you have small children, you may want to bring a snack for the longer tours and keep your trash contained.[ CLOSE ]
Why do you recommend removing contact lenses?
Some of the trails can be dusty so we recommend switching to eyeglasses for your personal comfort.[ CLOSE ]
Do you have Grand Canyon tours?
Absolutely! Experience the Grand Canyon in Grand Style on our Grand Canyon Experience tour.[ CLOSE ]
Can we split the payments between two people?
We can split payments any way you prefer.[ CLOSE ]
Do you offer tours for pregnant women?
Because of the off-road nature of our Jeep tours, we do not allow pregnant women on any of our published Jeep tour options. However, we do offer the Grand Canyon Experience and an on-road Scenic Sedona Tour for pregnant women. Please call us directly for more information on the Scenic Sedona tour option.[ CLOSE ]
Do you have water on the Jeeps or should we bring our own?
The Jeeps carry water; however, it is only accessible when the Jeeps are stopped. We do recommend bringing bottled water, which can be purchased at the Pink Jeep Store.[ CLOSE ]
Where do we check-in for our tour?
All of our tours depart from our office which is located at 204 N. Highway 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336.[ CLOSE ]
What is a Red Rock pass and do I need one for your tours?
Sedona requires Red Rock passes to park your vehicle on Forest Service lands. You do not need a Red Rock pass on our tours.[ CLOSE ]
Will there be other people on the jeep with my family?
Our tours often sell out and we maximize each Jeep to accommodate all of our customers. Most likely there will be other people on the jeeps with a maximum capacity of 8-9 passengers.[ CLOSE ]
Can I get a private Jeep?
You can reserve a private tour by purchasing all seats on the Jeep. Depending on the time of year, we charge for 7 seats on the Broken Arrow Tour and 6 seats on all other tours.[ CLOSE ]
What does a “U.S. Forest Service Permitted Company” mean?
The Forest Service issues permits for commercial companies to use the various forest trails and land. As a permitted company, Pink Jeep Tours adheres to Forest Service regulations which requires insurance, CPR and first-aid training for all guides, and ongoing trail maintenance. It also limits the number of jeeps allowed on the trails at one time and provides royalty fees to the Forest Service for the use of public lands.[ CLOSE ]
How much walking is involved on your Ancient Ruin Tour?
This tour involves approximately ½ mile of walking from the parking area through the cliff dwelling and back.[ CLOSE ]
Do we get to go into the Ruin site?
The trail takes you right up to the Ruin site but this is sacred ground so we do not physically walk into the rooms. [ CLOSE ]
What is the difference between your Scenic Rim and Coyote Canyons tour?
The Scenic Rim tour travels up Schnebly Hill Road in the heart of Sedona and climbs 2000 feet in elevation giving you a panoramic view looking down on Sedona. The Coyote Canyons tour goes out west of town on secondary dirt roads looking up at the canyon walls.[ CLOSE ]
What is the difference between your Broken Arrow and Diamondback Gulch tours?
Both the Broken Arrow tour and the Diamondback Gulch tour offer a rugged 4x4 adventure but the terrain is very different. The Broken Arrow trail begins at the outskirts of town and takes you four-wheeling on the red rocks while you are surrounded by the red rock formations. The Diamondback Gulch tour is west of town and offers four-wheeling through dry river beds and grand arroyos in a pristine high-desert terrain.[ CLOSE ]
How far are you from Phoenix?
Sedona is 110 miles north of Phoenix. You should allow 2 ½ hours for travel time. Get Directions.[ CLOSE ]

Do you offer vortex tours?
Because of its spiritual nature, most customers prefer to tour the vortex sites in their own private vehicle rather than with a group of strangers. The vortex sites are accessible in your car and a map is available at the Chamber of Commerce. Pink Jeep Tours specializes in jeep tours to more remote locations that are not easily accessible in a private vehicle.[ CLOSE ]
What is the weather like in Sedona?

We specialize in customized wedding tours. We can coordinate the entire wedding and a catered reception following the ceremony or anything in between. Do you offer discounts and how do I take advantage of them?
We offer a 20% Early Bird discount for tours booked at 7:00 am, a 15% repeat customer discount, or 10% AAA Member discount.[ CLOSE ]
Do you have any hotel packages?

Do you offer a senior discount?
Our standard rates are based on all ages. Seniors can also take advantage of our 20% Early Bird discount for tours booked at 7:00 am, or a 10% repeat customer discount. [ CLOSE ]
Do you offer AAA discounts?
Yes, we participate in the Show Your Card and Save Program with AAA. The discount is 10% off any tour. [ CLOSE ]
